Fox Sports Cancels Three FS1 Shows, Including Joy Taylor’s “Speak”

Fox Sports has terminated three FS1 weekday programs—“Speak,” “Breakfast Ball,” and “The Facility”—as reported by The Athletic. Joy Taylor, the 38-year-old co-host of “Speak” alongside Paul Pierce and Keyshawn Johnson, is also departing the network. Taylor’s exit follows a tumultuous period, including her involvement in a lawsuit against former Fox Sports executive Charlie Dixon, fired in April. In the suit, makeup artist Noushin Faraji accused Dixon of sexual battery and alleged Taylor dismissed her concerns, telling her “to get over it.” Taylor denied the claim but was off-air for two weeks in February and March. Her contract was set to expire this summer, per Front Office Sports.
“Breakfast Ball” featured Craig Carton, Mark Schlereth, and Danny Parkins, while “The Facility” included former NFL players Emmanuel Acho, Chase Daniel, James Jones, and LeSean McCoy. All three shows, launched under Dixon’s tenure, were canceled due to low ratings, according to The Athletic.
