Christian Pulisic and PUMA Open Second ‘Stomping Grounds’ Facility in Los Angeles

LOS ANGELES – U.S. men’s national team captain Christian Pulisic and PUMA unveiled the second Stomping Grounds community soccer hub on Tuesday in Culver City, California, furthering their mission to provide accessible sports spaces for underserved youth.
A New Home for Soccer and Community Growth
Located at 5659 Selmaraine Drive, the new facility serves as a dynamic space combining soccer training, mentorship, and life-skills development. Created in partnership with Culver City Football Club (CCFC)—a nonprofit youth soccer organization—the hub features:
- Interactive soccer zones, including an indoor pitch for skills training
- A putting green powered by PUMA Cobra Golf
- Life-size chess
- Guided fitness and stretching areas
Pulisic joined local children at the opening event, participating in drills, goal celebrations, and wellness activities.
More Than Just Soccer
The PUMA-Christian Pulisic Legacy Program, launched in 2023, aims to build permanent, inclusive soccer spaces in underrepresented communities. The first Stomping Grounds in Miami has already served over 950 children, and the initiative plans to:
- Donate nearly 60,000 soccer balls by 2026
- Expand to more cities nationwide
“Creating opportunities for kids to play the game they love has always been important to me,” Pulisic said. “Stomping Grounds is about more than soccer—it’s a safe space for young people to grow, find inspiration, and build confidence on and off the field. I’m proud to bring this project to Los Angeles, a city with such a deep soccer culture.”
PUMA’s Commitment to Social Impact
Tara McRae, President of PUMA North America, emphasized the brand’s dedication to using sports as a force for change:
“We believe in the power of sport to drive social impact. Christian’s Legacy Program reflects that mission by creating community-led spaces that promote play, personal growth, and mentorship. With this new LA facility, we’re taking another step toward leveling the playing field for youth across America.”
Pulisic Skips Gold Cup for Recovery
The AC Milan star opted out of the 2024 CONCACAF Gold Cup to rest after a demanding Serie A season, allowing him to focus on community initiatives like Stomping Grounds.
Looking Ahead
With two hubs now active—Miami and Los Angeles—the PUMA-Pulisic partnership continues to expand its reach, ensuring more young athletes have access to sports, mentorship, and opportunities to thrive.
