Téa Leoni and Tim Daly Tie the Knot in Intimate New York Ceremony

Téa Leoni, 59, and Tim Daly, 69, married in a private family ceremony in New York on Saturday, July 12, 2025, Leoni’s representative confirmed. The actors, who first met on the set of their CBS series Madam Secretary in 2014, began dating that summer while portraying on-screen couple Elizabeth and Henry McCord. The political drama ran for six seasons, from September 2014 to December 2019.
The couple made their red carpet debut at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner in April 2015, joined by journalist Bob Schieffer and former Secretary of State Madeleine Albright. Daly humorously told Bloomberg TV, “We’re gonna be a hot table,” referencing their high-profile company.
Leoni’s marriage to Daly follows her divorce from actor David Duchovny in August 2014, after 17 years of marriage. Leoni and Daly’s relationship was first noted publicly when Leoni attended Daly’s performance in Red at the Dorset Theatre in Vermont over the Fourth of July weekend in 2014.
