Caitlin Clark’s new Wilson basketball line is more than just gear — it’s a reflection of who she is beyond the court. From her love of blue to her favorite pastimes on the water or golf course, each detail tells a piece of her story. Before every Indiana Fever game, she says the same motivational phrase to teammate Aliyah Boston. That phrase now appears on one of the basketballs — making it more than just a product, but a personal extension of her life.
The development of this collection was a deeply collaborative process between Clark and Wilson’s design team. Their conversations stretched over months, covering her favorite colors, hobbies, and personality. “It was a really fun process,” Clark shared. “These are things that matter to me. I hope the basketballs inspire the people who pick them up.”

Clark is only the second athlete after Michael Jordan to have a full basketball collection with Wilson. Her first line leaned into her basketball legacy — record-breaking achievements at Iowa and a historic WNBA rookie season. But this new drop aims to spotlight her identity beyond stats.
Hudson Vantrease, Wilson’s director of product design, emphasized Clark’s influence: “This isn’t just a branding exercise. Caitlin is deeply involved in every decision.”
In April, Clark saw the final basketballs for the first time at the Indiana Fever’s gym. Her reaction? “Awesome. Awesome, awesome, awesome. You guys killed it.”
Set to release June 23, the new line features four basketballs: an indoor-only ball, an outdoor-only ball, and two hybrid designs. The Embrace model mirrors the construction of an official WNBA ball — a nod to performance and professionalism.
The design process began with 50 concepts, which were narrowed down to 10, then refined further with Clark’s input. Her personality shines through in every design. The Oasis ball, for example, is inspired by her love of golf and water. Light blue panels are splashed with pastel pink and green — forming an abstract golf course. She spotted it immediately: “That looks like a hole on a golf course!”
The Envision ball features the phrase “DREAM BIG” in a maze-like pattern on light blue panels. The Aspire ball, appearing white or grey at first, reveals hidden messages like “Keep Going” and “You’re Going to Be Amazing Because You Are Amazing” when held in sunlight — echoing the exact words Clark says to Boston before every game.
Then there’s the Embrace — subtle, sleek, and regulation-ready. It features a light-blue sunburst around the airhole and within the Wilson logo, modeled after audio waves from a Fever game crowd — a clever nod to how Clark thrives under pressure.
The team behind this collection includes a dozen creatives who immersed themselves in Clark’s world. From monitoring her outfits on social media to asking what she would do if she weren’t an athlete (answer: become a chef), every insight shaped the design.
“I want fans to feel a connection through these basketballs,” Clark said. “Not just by watching me play, but by holding something that carries part of who I am.”
These aren’t just basketballs — they’re a bridge between the player and her people.
